THE CREATORS OF WOOMOON AND ACID SUNDAYS PRESENT: STORYTELLERS

Live a fable in first person, amplify sensations through art and performances synchronised with music, introducing the concept curated by to allow the guest DJ to unleash their imagination and to let the audience participate in their artistic fantasies -not only musical ones- in spaces transformed by an impressive production in imaginary universes designed to explore new levels of experience from sunset to sunrise: Storytellers.

For its world premiere, Storytellers has a fantastic guest, Damian Lazarus, being his only performance in Tulum (Riviera Maya, Mexico) this season. Together they present “Dancing into Dreams”: an immersive experience that combines music, performance, technology and imaginary Mayan in a paradisiacal environment.

It’s the first of a worldwide series of ephemeral performative events, as each party will be developed by an internationally renowned artist or label in collaboration with Storytellers in themed spaces integrated in the context and with the audience as major character of a fantastic adventure where music will be just one of the channels of transmission, promoting a different way of living an electronic music party.

Inspired in part by the original and exclusive private parties that the Storytellers artistic team has been organising in Ibiza over the last few years, Storytellers’ mission is to make the audience feel at home. An odyssey with countless acts, dozens of characters, performances and themed spaces for the crowd to live a unique and exciting story in first person.

For its world premiere, Storytellers has chosen one of the most special places in the world –Tulum-, the epicentre of an exclusive electronic music scene. And the master of ceremonies for such a premiere is Damian Lazarus, being his only performance of the season in Tulum. Damian Lazarus in one of the most respected and popular stars of underground dance music, name behind the cult label Crosstown Rebels and headliner of internationally renowned events and festivals. Damian Lazarus has also been responsible for organising Day Zero Festival, which has been very successful in Tulum over the last few years, combining the tropical jungle and technology perfectly. For 2018, Damian Lazarus has chosen to work with Storytellers for this unique and exclusive date in Riviera Maya.

Located in the Mexican Caribbean, the land of Mayas, which holds one of the most important archaeological sites of pre-Columbian cultures, Tulum is the epicentre of one of the most exciting musical scenes on the planet. And for such an event, Storytellers has chosen one of the most exclusive locations in the area, such as Papaya Playa Project. Surrounded by tropical jungle, palapas and flanked by the Caribbean Sea, Papaya Playa Project offers endless magical corners so that the experience of the event can be developed to its maximum splendour.

Also, on January 2nd, the first WooMooN of 2018 will take place, coinciding with the first full moon of 2018. WooMooN held two sold out events in 2017 and this year returns to Tulum as the beginning of a world tour.

WooMooN and Storytellers are two of the highlights of Riviera Maya’s high season, kicking off what will be a 2018 full of global dates and residencies in Ibiza for both events:
