AMSTERDAM DANCE EVENT REVEALS SECOND WAVE WITH 1500+ ARTISTS & DJS AND COUNTING FOR 30 YEARS ADE.

Amsterdam is getting ready for one of its biggest weeks of the year. Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) has revealed the second wave of artists for its 2026 edition, bringing the lineup to more than 1,500 confirmed names as the event prepares to celebrate its 30th anniversary. Taking place from October 21 to 25, ADE will once again turn Amsterdam into the global meeting point for electronic music. Among the latest artists announced are Eric Prydz, Paul Kalkbrenner, Ben Klock, Maceo Plex, Miss Monique, HAAi, DJ Stingray 313, Todd Terry, Scooter, CARISTA and many more.

But ADE has grown into much more than just DJs and club nights. For its anniversary edition, the event will continue to mix electronic music with art, technology and live performances. French artist Boris Acket will present his installation EINDER, while Het Nationale Ballet and ISH will open ADE with Swan Lake Remixed for ADE. The ARTIS Planetarium and the new ARTIS Aquarium will also become part of the festival with audiovisual and immersive experiences.

Some of Amsterdam’s most iconic venues will host major shows throughout the week. The Gashouder will welcome artists including Eric Prydz, Job Jobse and MOCHAKK, while Paul Kalkbrenner will bring his live show to Theater Amsterdam. Scooter will take things even bigger with SCOOTER CRUSHES ADE at the Ziggo Dome. The ADE Pro Conference will also return, bringing together some of the biggest names in music and technology. Jean-Michel Jarre, Marcel Dettmann, Luciano, Tinie Tempah and Nastia are among the speakers, alongside representatives from SoundCloud, Google DeepMind, Warner Music and other major companies. Artificial intelligence will also be part of the conversation, with artists and industry figures discussing how the technology could shape the future of music.

Major ADE promoters are also starting to reveal their plans. Awakenings has announced eight shows featuring artists such as Adam Beyer, Jeff Mills, Ben Klock and DJ Gigola, while Audio Obscura and SPIELRAUM have confirmed dozens of artists across several events. And this is still only part of what is coming. The final ADE 2026 program is expected to feature more than 3,300 artists across over 200 venues throughout Amsterdam.

Thirty years after its first edition in 1996, ADE has grown from an electronic music gathering into one of the most important events in the global scene. With thousands of artists, hundreds of venues and five days of music ahead, its 30th anniversary is shaping up to be one of its biggest editions yet.
