TIME LOST:

GAME-CHANGING PROMOTERS NIGHTVISION EDINBURGH ARE HOSTING A SERIES OF FANTASTIC EVENTS

Game-changing promoters NightVision Edinburgh are hosting a series of fantastic festive events from December 29th to 31st, with heavyweights like Jeff Mills, Pan Pot, Purple Disco Machine, Mr Scruff, George Fitzgerald, Joy Orbison and Red Rack’Em all playing across various venues and four different parties.

Nightvision has really established itself this year with ambitious, genre-defying programmes that have taken in the country’s biggest ever Halloween event, the monster techno festival Terminal V and an open air music festival at the special waterfront location of Leith Docks, all with next level lighting, a real focus on sound quality and the sort of production that immerses you deep in the action.

Their end of year and New Year’s Day series is just as special, and it all kicks off on Saturday December 29th at Liquid Room Warehouse with the first of a two part Hogmanay party headlined by Detroit techno legend Jeff Mills, with Special Guest Pan Pot from the Second State label, Jay Clarke, local legend Stephen Brown and resident Frazier all playing. Part two is the night after at a venue to be announced and will feature a set from Defected’s curveball house master Purple Disco Machine.

Then, on New Year’s Eve, there will be two simultaneous events in different parts of the Liquid Rooms. The first features eclectic master, deep digger and celebrated tea lover Mr Scruff serving up one of his languid, deep cut sets of anything goes beats, and the second has Domino’s bass house innovator George Fitzgerald as well as contemporary UK great Joy Orbison, who can do anything from garage to techno to bass, with Red Rack Em, who was behind the massive ‘Wonky Bassline Disco Banger’ last year, also in on the fun.

These events are sure to be the best way to see out the old and bring in the new, and once again confirm NightVision as Scotland’s most essential party people.
