A\u00a0<strong>UNESCO<\/strong>\u00a0world heritage site, right in the heart of the city, directly underneath\u00a0<strong>Edinburgh Castle<\/strong>. It\u2019s a backdrop that they feel has the potential to be the number one open air venue on the planet. Needless to say,\u00a0<strong>Mixmag<\/strong>\u00a0proclaimed FLY Open Air as a\u00a0<em>&#8220;global contender for the festival circuit\u2019\u2019<\/em>\u00a0last year.<\/p>\n<p>Headliners for\u00a0<strong>Saturday 23 September<\/strong>\u00a0come in the form of\u00a0<strong>Eats Everything<\/strong>\u00a0&amp;\u00a0<strong>Lil Louis<\/strong>. The latter, quite simply is the reason why electronic music boomed in the first place, the \u2018Founding Father of House\u2019 and a true Chicago-house music legend. Having scored a number of hit records in the &#8217;80s and &#8217;90s his status within house music\u2019s elite is rubber stamped. Fast forward a decade or so &#8211; his track\u00a0<strong>\u2018French Kiss&#8217;<\/strong>\u00a0is still timeless to this day and he continues championing his sound at major festivals across the globe. The same holds true for\u00a0<strong>Eats Everything<\/strong>\u00a0aka Daniel Pearce. Not many producers have made such a rapid and far-reaching impact on electronic music. He is at the forefront of a swathe of talented producers to come out of Bristol, defining an entirely new strand of forward-thinking underground music.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to these headliners, FLY Open Air have upped their game this year, bringing their biggest lineup yet, as\u00a0<strong>George Fitzgerald, Leon Vynehall and Dekmantel Soundsystem<\/strong>\u00a0join residents\u00a0<strong>Jasper James, Theo Kottis<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>La La<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The all-day event has sold out on every occasion since its launch so if you are wanting to party under the castle in what is probably the best open air location in the world then you can get your tickets here: \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/2rOT1MP\">http:\/\/bit.ly\/2rOT1MP<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Doors open at noon and close at 11 pm.
