With that, a name for the organised chaos was called for. <strong>Vitalik<\/strong> derived from Vital and Vitalism seemed apt for a venture focused squarely on the celebration and actualisation of living. The parties and label led by<strong> Ryan O Gorman<\/strong> have been a firm force of the balearic underground resistance ever-since.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Homies<\/strong>, the brainchild of <strong>Camilo Miranda<\/strong> and <strong>Christian Len<\/strong> was born in Barcelona in 2015, their philosophy and tagline \u201cthe best parties are always at home\u201d is based on a party concept that converts any space into a house party. Their invite only parties in private spaces in Barcelona made a refreshing alternative to conventional clubbing. \u201cA cozy celebration where feeling at home, comfy &amp; crazy, breaking the rules of the normal club. An adventure discovering new music, sharing a dance, a conversation, a drink ,while partying with genuine people in a space where there \u015b no pose.\u201d in their own words. When <strong>Christian<\/strong> became a more regular fixture on he island in his role at Ibiza <strong>Sonica<\/strong> they sought an Ibiza home for their party, <strong>Pikes<\/strong> was the perfect fit.<\/p>\n<p>Both promoters are very familiar with <strong>Pikes<\/strong> having promoted their individual events there and holding DJ residencies, <strong>Ryan<\/strong> with <strong>XOYO<\/strong> and <strong>Camilo<\/strong> with <strong>DJ Harvey<\/strong> so there is comfort in knowing what works. The demographics each side pull from make for an interesting mix also, <strong>Homies<\/strong> being largely Spanish and <strong>Vitalik<\/strong> drawing from more more UK centric following. Their guests on the 28th are Balearic stalwart <strong>Chris Coco, Ibiza Sonica\u02bcs Karlos Sense, SIDD<\/strong> of <strong>Dacha Workshop, Jamie Roy<\/strong> of <strong>Do Not Sleep<\/strong> and <strong>Yawa Ze<\/strong> from<strong> Fiesta &amp; Bullshit<\/strong>.
