Soundcrash, promoters of some of the finest London events plus creators of Soundwave, Paradise Island and Funk &amp; Soul Weekender festivals have gone out to create something really unique and special. Set in possibly the most exciting city in Europe right now Soundcrash\u2019s <strong>Nova Batida <\/strong>encompasses all that this great and beautiful city has to offer as well being 15 mins from some of the best surf beaches in the world.<\/p>\n<p>Nova Batida will be spread across two venues in Lisbon, the <strong>LX Factory and Village Underground Lisboa<\/strong>. \u00a0A sprawling converted factory with courtyards, out buildings, even avenues and warehouses has been turned into <strong>LX Factory<\/strong>, one of the most significant creative hubs in Europe with roof terraces, bars, fashion outlets and much more.<br \/>\n<strong>Village Underground Lisboa<\/strong> is made up of a disused tram terminus, partially used as a film set and is made into work and event space from a series of shipping containers and busses<\/p>\n<p>Seven cinematic hillsides overlooking the Rio Tejo cradle Lisbon\u2019s postcard-perfect panorama of cobbled alleyways, ancient ruins and white-domed cathedrals &#8211; a captivating recipe crafted over centuries. However, this traditional view of Lisbon has been added to in recent years by a more cutting edge side to the city. The \u2018New Berlin\u2019 tag is gradually being replaced by the \u2018Lisbon is the New Lisbon\u2019 tag. A cultural and arts hub, a music hub, a tech hub, Lisbon\u2019s popularity has truly exploded.<\/p>\n<p>In its maiden year, the Nova Batida line-up will combine some of the best international talent spreading across multiple genres with a focus on new and exciting. Headlining this years festival will are <strong>Mount Kimbie <\/strong>fresh off the back of their critically acclaimed third album<em> \u2018Love What Survives, with <\/em><strong>\u00a0Maribou State <\/strong>are bringing their full live 7 piece band in the lead up to the release of the new LP.
