Formed in 1983, their albums \u2018Isn&#8217;t Anything\u2019 and \u2018Loveless\u2019 are considered some of the most influential rock albums of all time. 2018 marks the start of the next chapter in the band&#8217;s journey and fans at Bilbao BBK Live can look forward to a mesmerising show of classics and new music featuring all of the original band members.<\/p>\n<p>Psychedelic rock band\u00a0<strong>King Gizzard &amp; The Lizard Wizard<\/strong>\u00a0also join the bill. The Melbourne seven-piece proved themselves to be amongst the most prolific music makers of 2017, releasing not one but five albums in one year. Known for their energetic and powerful live performances their show at Bilbao BBK Live is one to watch.<\/p>\n<p>British quintet\u00a0<strong>Bad Sounds<\/strong>, led by brothers Ewan and Callum Merrett, will arrive at Kobetamendi with a live performance that showcases their unique, genre-blending sound. And finally, synth pop trio eMe, one of the rising stars of the Basque music scene complete today\u2019s new additions.<\/p>\n<p>The new acts announced today an already impressive roster of talent for Bilbao BBK Live 2018, including\u00a0<strong>Gorillaz, The xx, Florence &amp; The Machine, The Chemical Brothers, Childish Gambino, Alt-j, David Byrne, Noel Gallagher\u2019s High Flying Birds, Friendly Fires, Cigarettes After Sex, Mount Kimbie, Benjamine Clementine, James, Jungle, Parquet Courts, Temples, Young Fathers\u00a0<\/strong>and many more.<\/p>\n<p>In addition,\u00a0<strong>Basoa<\/strong>, the electronic component of Bilbao BBK Live, will once again play host to uninterrupted parties from sunset to sunrise from the genre&#8217;s most acclaimed underground headliners.\u00a0<strong>Modeselektor, Hunee, John Talabot, Ben UFO, Young Marco, Optimo, Prosumer, Avalon Emerson, Dekmantel Soundsystem, Anthony Naples\u00a0<\/strong>and more will all perform in the atmospheric woodland complete with \u00a0Basoa\u2019s exceptional sound system.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bilbao BBK<\/strong> Live promotes sustainability and offers mouth-watering food and drink as well as live art installations around the site, all of which make it a perfect place to immerse yourself, escape everyday life and get lost in music and culture with thousands of like-minded people.<\/p>\n<p>With the festival taking place just moments from the city, there is plenty to explore before the music starts each day.
