Hosted by the \u2018Moments Of Ibiza\u2019 series, the showcases will be Renaissance\u2019s first on the island since Pacha in 2012. Each event will feature an array of House and Techno\u2019s most prominent names including\u00a0<strong>Kevin Saunderson<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Mathew Jonson<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Booka Shade (Live)\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>3D<\/strong>, along with rising talents\u00a0<strong>Lauren Lo Sung<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Marino Canal\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Prymate<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<em>\u201cI liked the idea of San Antonio because the other side of the island is saturated. Most key artists have their own branded nights and it\u2019s pointless trying to compete there\u201d<\/em>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0<strong>Geoff Oakes (Renaissance Founder)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Making their debut in Ibiza also most a quarter of a century ago at Ku (now Privilege), Renaissance has consistently drawn underground music\u2019s most sought after acts to the island. Whether it be the likes of DJ elites including\u00a0<strong>John Digweed<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Sasha\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Carl Cox\u00a0<\/strong>or live acts such as\u00a0<strong>Moby\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Leftfield<\/strong>, Renaissance has been a staple part of the Ibizan youth culture.<\/p>\n<p>Playing host to the world\u2019s holidaymakers and clubbers, the international dance music community championed Renaissance as the go to party destination in Ibiza over the years. It\u2019s without question that Renaissance has conquered some of the finest clubs and largest crowds during their history on the White Isle.<\/p>\n<p>Driving forward into a new era for Renaissance, 2018 has already seen a string of new UK events including a world exclusive b2b closing performance from\u00a0<strong>Sasha\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Tale Of Us\u00a0<\/strong>in Birmingham. The new label releases have dominated dance floors, highlighted by\u00a0<strong>Tale Of Us\u2019\u00a0<\/strong>remix of\u00a0<strong>Energy 52\u2019s iconic Ibiza track, Caf\u00e9 Del Mar\u00a0<\/strong>soaring to the top of the Beatport charts.
