As Morocco\u2019s\u00a0Oasis Festival<\/a>\u00a0gets ever closer, yet another wave of tasteful names has been announced for the one-of-a-kind musical experience, which takes place from 14th – 16th September at the stunning Fellah Hotel in Marrakech.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The latest wave of acts, including\u00a0Boo Williams, Cinthie, Hot Since 82, Joy Orbison, rRoxymore<\/strong>\u00a0(live),\u00a0Sasha\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Unes<\/strong>, complements an already impressive line-up, that stars\u00a0Avalon Emerson, Ben Klock, Carl Cox, \u00a0DJ Koze, Honey Dijon, Jessy Lanza, Mount Kimbie, Peggy Gou, The Black Madonna<\/strong>, and many more. Next to these musical additions is news that the festival\u2019s cultural offerings are also expanding, with\u00a0The Museum of African Contemporary Art Al Maaden<\/strong>\u00a0(MACAAL) and new area \u2018Welcome to the Kingdom\u2019 set to showcase the very best of Morocco\u2019s contemporary art, culture and design.<\/p>\n

First amongst the latest names is Last Night on Earth label boss and the original superstar DJ\u00a0Sasha\u00a0<\/strong>who brings decades of DJing experience. Fresh house sounds come courtesy of Ibiza favourite\u00a0Hot Since 82\u00a0<\/strong>and Chicago house legend\u00a0Boo Williams<\/strong>. UK sensation\u00a0Joy Orbison<\/strong>\u00a0will be on hand to serve up his take on bass and techno, there\u2019s a live show from\u00a0rRoxymore<\/strong>\u00a0and Berlin\u2019s in the know\u00a0Cinthie<\/strong>and\u00a0Myriam\u00a0<\/strong>step up for a back to back set. Germany’s contemporary tech house tastemaker and label boss\u00a0Alex Niggemann\u00a0<\/strong>will join the previously announced\u00a0Amine K\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Denis Horvat\u00a0<\/strong>for a b2b2b set, and Morocco\u2019s finest,\u00a0Unes, Kali G., Pandi Fassi\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0LasriZ<\/strong>, complete the lineup.<\/p>\n

As well as these exciting musical additions, Oasis will also welcome\u00a0The Museum of African Contemporary Art Al Maaden<\/strong>\u00a0(MACAAL) to this year\u2019s edition. The museum, which has been praised by the likes of Forbes, Wallpaper and Vogue and hosted shows in New York and London to great acclaim, will bring a genuine slice of Moroccan art, history and culture to the event and offer a window into the country\u2019s flourishing creative scenes.<\/p>\n

Also new for 2018 is\u00a0Welcome to the Kingdom<\/strong>, a cultural, creative and immersive space curated by Amine Bendriouich, that will bring the best avant-garde offerings Morocco has to offer, from the fields of design, music, art and culture.\u00a0Barometre<\/strong>, Marrakech\u2019s celebrated cocktail bar, is set to make a return, offering up a unique and mouthwatering menu of fusion drinks, thanks to their bespoke cocktail wizardry and alchemic approach to mixing. Also returning for 2018 is the festival\u2019s hookah lounge, champagne bar, and wide variety of culinary delights from Marrakech\u2019s contemporary food scene. All this, coupled with a new on-site spa, daily yoga and meditation, sun-soaked swimming pools and tropical gardens provides a fully immersive and relaxing experience next to the world class music offerings.<\/p>\n

With this final wave of names, Oasis Festival 2018 is shaping up to be an utterly essential date on the festival calendar.<\/p>\n
