IMS College \u2013 Malta, a uniquely curated educational initiative aimed at emerging electronic music professionals and future industry visionaries, has now revealed its final schedule for 2018, bringing together a powerful collection of leading electronic music experts and artists to educate the next generation with their experience and knowledge.<\/p>\n<p>By day attendees will experience two full days of interactive workshops, inspiring keynotes and learning sessions covering four key pillars of music education:\u00a0<strong>Performance, Production, Promotion<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Publishing<\/strong>. Partnering with leading music education institutes\u00a0<strong>Point Blank Music School<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Berklee College of Music<\/strong>, the two-days of learning are designed to help nurture and boost the careers of emerging electronic music industry professionals and creatives. By night attendees will experience specially curated parties and events showcasing the best in international electronic music talent.<\/p>\n<p>Day one of the summer camp on Friday 14<sup>th\u00a0<\/sup>September, will see\u00a0<strong>Point Blank<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Music School<\/strong>\u00a0present two insightful sessions: a production masterclass with Maltese artist\u00a0<strong>Tenishia\u00a0<\/strong>and a track deconstruction masterclass in Ableton Live. Also on day one,\u00a0<strong>Mixmag\u2019s Future Of Dance Music<\/strong>\u00a0brings together innovators from across the spectrum of the genre to share their thoughts on where the industry is heading and how they plan to change the game. Local and International labels will bring their experiences and advice to\u00a0<strong>Beatport\u2019s How To Set Up And Run an Independent Record Label,\u00a0<\/strong>featuring representatives from\u00a0<strong>Toolroom<\/strong>\u00a0and Malta\u2019s leading label\u00a0<strong>Alleanza<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday 15<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0September presents day two of IMS College &#8211; Malta, opening with\u00a0<strong>elrow \u2013 How To Build A Global Brand<\/strong>\u00a0which will lift the lid on the inner workings of the past, present and future of the legendary party phenomenon and family run business. At a time when conversations around mental health in the dance music community are gathering momentum,\u00a0<strong>Staying Sane In The Game<\/strong>\u00a0will spotlight the challenges music industry professionals may face and will give valuable advice on where to get help and support.\u00a0<strong>Tools Of The Trade<\/strong>\u00a0will delve into the key platforms and techniques you need to be aware of to grow your presence in the music industry from social media to music promotion platforms.\u00a0<strong>Berklee College of Music<\/strong>\u00a0will provide attendees with tailored career advice in one-on-one\u00a0<strong>Career Coaching Clinic<\/strong>\u00a0sessions, offering bespoke, practical advice on how to achieve their career goals.
