The special act this year is DJ-duo <strong>Disclosure<\/strong> (DJ-set) who are well-known for their hits \u2018Latch\u2019 and \u2018You and Me\u2019. Also heavyweights <strong>Ben Klock<\/strong>, <strong>Dixon<\/strong>, <strong>K\u00f6lsch<\/strong> and <strong>Laurent Garnier<\/strong> will make an appearance at the acclaimed festival. As always, live performances are an important part of <strong>DGTL&#8217;<\/strong>s billing, hence <strong>GusGus<\/strong> (live), <strong>Larry Heard aka Mr. Fingers<\/strong> (live), <strong>Rampue<\/strong> (live) and <strong>Tourist<\/strong> (live) being amongst the first names announced. The organisation will also showcase local heroes <strong>Oceanic<\/strong>, <strong>Carista<\/strong>, <strong>Titia<\/strong>, and stars in the making such as the <strong>Amsterdam<\/strong> duo <strong>Parallells<\/strong> (live) who will make their debut at the festival this year. Knowing that this is only a glimpse of what <strong>DGTL<\/strong> has in store, with so many artists still to be announced, it&#8217;s safe to say; <strong>DGTL AMS 2019<\/strong> is a festival that is <em>not to be missed<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The festival organisation, who are currently <strong>Amsterdam\u2019<\/strong>s most sustainable entrepreneurs, have a mission to become the world&#8217;s first circular festival by 2020, which includes being completely waste- and emission-free. Huge strides have already been taken to achieve this goal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DGTL<\/strong> has many editions around the world, including <strong>Barcelona<\/strong>, <strong>Madrid<\/strong>, <strong>S\u00e3o Paulo<\/strong>, <strong>Santiago<\/strong> and <strong>Tel Aviv<\/strong> where sustainability also plays an important role. With this, the organisation hopes to be an example for the dance industry and other festivals worldwide.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DGTL<\/strong>\u2019s full line-up will be announced on <strong>January 8<\/strong>. The passepartouts (from \u20ac130,- includes Friday opening night, Saturday, Sunday and night program) and weekend tickets (from \u20ac82,-) for <strong>DGTL Amsterdam 2019<\/strong> are now on sale.
