RESISTANCE<\/strong>, Ultra Worldwide\u2019s esteemed underground concept, has come a long way since its Ultra debut as a single stage in 2015. With Ultra Music Festival 2019 around the corner, RESISTANCE has announced that it will be returning to Miami this year with its most ambitious plans yet.<\/p>\n

Following the news that Ultra Music Festival officially moved to its new venue at Historic Virginia Key Beach Park & Miami Marine Stadium, RESISTANCE has revealed that it will have its own island, taking over the\u00a0Historic Virginia Key Beach Park\u00a0<\/strong>side of the venue for the weekend. This comes as a significant upgrade as the concept will have more space and hours to use than ever before. The festival will officially run from\u00a02pm – 2am\u00a0<\/strong>on all three days.<\/p>\n

With the RESISTANCE island takeover official, the organizers have announced that for the first time ever,\u00a0it will be hosting the Carl Cox MegaStructure for the entire weekend<\/strong>. The King himself is set to headline all three days, with an additional\u00a0exclusive B2B set on Saturday with a special guest.\u00a0<\/strong>While Carl will be leading the charge at the MegaStructure all weekend,\u00a0Richie Hawtin\u2019s PLAYdifferently will run a takeover at a brand new RESISTANCE structure on Saturday<\/strong>. This however, is not the only plans RESISTANCE has for its island.<\/p>\n

In addition, RESISTANCE plans to utilize its expansive space by bringing in\u00a0a third stage,\u00a0<\/strong>aptly named\u00a0The Arrival<\/strong>. For those unfamiliar with The Arrival, it is the stage that comes straight from the PLAYGROUND Sound Camp at Burning Man.<\/p>\n

Armed with three stages and newly extended hours, RESISTANCE did not hold back on its program, dropping its most comprehensive lineup to date. In addition to RESISTANCE Global Ambassador, Carl Cox, and Richie Hawtin, headliners include the likes of the\u00a0Adam Beyer<\/strong>, and\u00a0Sasha | John Digweed<\/strong>, acts that are jumping from one island to another after enjoying a stellar season as RESISTANCE Ibiza residents last summer. In addition to Adam playing his own set, the Don of Drumcode will be teaming up for a highly anticipated\u00a0B2B set with Cirez D<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Headliners making their RESISTANCE Miami debut include Deadmau5\u2019s techno alias,\u00a0Testpilot<\/strong>, Belgium\u2019s\u00a0Charlotte de Witte\u00a0<\/strong>and Italy\u2019s\u00a0Ilario Alicante<\/strong>. Meanwhile, techno pioneer and Cocoon boss\u00a0Sven V\u00e4th\u00a0<\/strong>returns to Ultra Music Festival for the first time since 2013.<\/p>\n

Moreover, RESISTANCE Miami will see the return of the rare B3B set between\u00a0Dubfire<\/strong>,\u00a0Nicole Moudaber\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Paco Osuna<\/strong>, as well as an exclusive B2B set between\u00a0Jamie Jones\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Joseph Capriati<\/strong>. The rest of the headliners include\u00a0Art Department<\/strong>,\u00a0Black Coffee<\/strong>,\u00a0Hot Since 82<\/strong>,\u00a0Joris Voorn<\/strong>,\u00a0Loco Dice<\/strong>,\u00a0Maceo Plex<\/strong>,\u00a0The Martinez Brothers<\/strong>,\u00a0Matador<\/strong>,\u00a0Nic Fanciulli<\/strong>, and\u00a0Tale Of Us<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

While the headliners are great, RESISTANCE did not hold restraint on any of their support bookings either.\u00a0Alan Fitzpatrick,\u00a0Andrea Oliva<\/strong>,\u00a0Dennis Cruz<\/strong>,\u00a0Enrico Sangiuliano<\/strong>,\u00a0La Fleur<\/strong>,\u00a0Noir<\/strong>,\u00a0Richy Ahmed, Camelphat\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Solardo\u00a0<\/strong>will all be making their RESISTANCE Miami debut, with the last two set to go B2B. Additional support acts include\u00a0ANNA<\/strong>,\u00a0Chip E<\/strong>,\u00a0Christian Smith<\/strong>,\u00a0Cristoph<\/strong>,\u00a0Hector<\/strong>,\u00a0Jon Rundell<\/strong>,\u00a0Josh Wink<\/strong>,\u00a0Luigi Madonna<\/strong>,\u00a0Marco\u00a0Bailey<\/strong>,\u00a0Pleasurekraft<\/strong>,\u00a0Popof<\/strong>,\u00a0Stefano Noferini<\/strong>, and\u00a0Technasia B2B Carlo Lio<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Now releasing its best lineup to date, RESISTANCE continues to grow its presence in the US as it has around the world. With upcoming appearances in South Africa, a debut in Australia, and a third season in Ibiza, where it is set to dominate Tuesdays at Privilege from July 23 – Sept 17 once again, RESISTANCE shows no signs of slowing down.<\/p>\n
