The landmark party \u00a0is led by the station\u2019s leading tastemaker <strong>Pete Tong <\/strong>and<strong> ANTS <\/strong>regular<strong> Andrea Oliva<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Returning to the white isle for their 24th consecutive summer as part of their annual Ibiza extravaganza, <strong>BBC Radio 1<\/strong> have enjoyed numerous events at <strong>Ushua\u00efa<\/strong> in years gone by, \u00a0with the venue constantly outdoing itself when it comes to phenomenal productions. With incredible pyrotechnics, mind-blowing lighting, visuals and a state of the art soundsystem, it\u2019s no surprise people flock from around the world for the inimitable <strong>Ushua\u00efa <\/strong>experience.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past half decade, <strong>ANTS <\/strong>has carved a reputation as a brand that champions captivating, complex dance music. Welcoming <strong>BBC Radio 1\u2019s <\/strong>dance stage back to <strong>Ushua\u00efa Ibiza<\/strong> on <strong>Saturday 3rd August<\/strong> further cements this status.<\/p>\n<p>Kicking off proceedings will be DJ and production duo <strong>Eli &amp; Fur<\/strong>, closely followed by Chicago-born artist <strong>Secondcity<\/strong> and <strong>Maya Jane Coles<\/strong> &#8211; fresh from the release of her <strong>\u2018U&amp;ME\u2019 <\/strong>EP. <strong>Pete Tong<\/strong> and then Mancunion duo <strong>Solardo<\/strong> will then take the reins, before <strong>ANTS<\/strong> poster-boy<strong> Andrea Oliva<\/strong> closes out what looks set to be one of the most in-demand events on the Ibiza calendar this summer.<\/p>\n<p>Marking a huge change for their seventh anniversary, ANTS will see Ushua\u00efa Ibiza transformed into a fully fledged underground city with their brand new concept \u2018<strong>ANTS Metropolis<\/strong>\u2019. Having previously focused on the more natural and animal-side of the ANTS colony, this season\u2019s immersive production will focus more on the ANTS colony as a society, hard at work in today\u2019s modern world.<\/p>\n<p>The<strong> ANTS<\/strong> concept has enjoyed a meteoric growth in stature since the inception of the brand in 2012, with various parties taking place all over the world, focusing on rugged minimalistic beats from some of the biggest names in electronic music.
