Amsterdam\u2019<\/strong>s most innovative party promoters\u00a0Audio Obscura\u00a0<\/strong>today reveal their first events for the 2019 edition of the\u00a0Amsterdam Dance Event,<\/strong>\u00a0taking over the famousMuziekgebouw aan \u2019t IJ\u00a0<\/strong>concert hall for three unforgettable nights (17-19 October).<\/p>\n

The stunning riverside venue caters for several thousand people over its four beautiful spaces – the Theater, Bimhuis, Deck and Chapel – and will vibrate to the sounds of some of the biggest house and techno artists in the world during the world-famous club festival and industry conference.<\/p>\n

Thursday 17 October<\/strong>\u00a0sees\u00a0Audio Obscura\u00a0<\/strong>team up with\u00a0Joris Voorn\u2019<\/strong>s\u00a0Spectrum<\/strong>, following on their spectacular Kingsnight celebration in April and other previous collabs.\u00a0Voorn<\/strong>\u00a0will play a very special all-night back-to-back set in the main room with a huge guest who also featured at\u00a0Audio Obscura\u2019<\/strong>s\u00a0Spectrum ADE\u00a0<\/strong>sessions a couple of years ago. This special guest will be announced soon. Over in the neighbouring Bimhuis room, the mighty\u00a0Hot Since 82<\/strong>\u00a0holds court alongside\u00a0Josh Butler<\/strong>, with more artists to be announced.<\/p>\n

Friday 18 October\u00a0<\/strong>focuses on German techno hero\u00a0Len Faki<\/strong>, who will play all night long to take the crowd on an epic journey through his record box. Also expect\u00a0Colin Benders<\/strong>\u00a0who joins UK talent\u00a0Blawan<\/strong>,\u00a0<\/strong>the enduring master that is Germany\u2019s\u00a0Ellen Allien<\/strong>,\u00a0Henning Baer<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Dr. Rubinstein<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/strong>Dutch hero\u00a0Benny Rodrigues<\/strong>\u00a0plays under his acclaimed\u00a0ROD<\/strong>\u00a0alias for his\u00a0Audio Obscura<\/strong>\u00a0debut. Audio Obscura<\/strong>\u00a0has joined forces with a new ticketing partner:\u00a0GUTS<\/strong>. This startup from Amsterdam uses innovative blockchain technology to make ticket sales honest and transparent.\u00a0GUTS<\/strong>‘ digital tickets are registered to the smartphone of the ticket buyer, which protects them from fraud and scalping, and it opens the door for exciting technical innovations.\u00a0Audio Obscura<\/strong>\u00a0is the first organization in the dance industry who will start working with\u00a0GUTS<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
