Last year, no less than\u00a0<b>25% of the visitors came from abroad<\/b>, namely from New Zealand, South Korea, USA, Australia, Austria, UK, France, The Netherlands and many more. Over the years, the organization has sticked to its core values: a mix of established techno heroes and emerging talents, presented in an industrial context<b>:\u00a0<\/b>the amazing Transfo site in Zwevegem (Belgium).<\/span><u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">A series of local, national and international artists will bring the old power plant back to life on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 August with their relentlessly rough techno. More than 50 artists complete the line-up, with <b>Len Faki<\/b>\u00a0as the absolute headliner. The German DJ, producer and label owner &#8211; who is a resident of\u00a0<b>Berghain<\/b>\u00a0by the way &#8211; is seen as one of the greatest<b>\u00a0<\/b>techno gurus on earth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The line-up is further strengthened by the duo VTSS and Randomer, under the name of their musical project\u00a0<strong>Body Sushi<\/strong>. The French DJ, producer and label owner,\u00a0<strong>Anetha<\/strong>, will also be present. She is seen as the new generation\u2019s leading figure and her musical DNA &#8211; a mix of EBM, trance, electro and old school &#8217;90s techno &#8211; goes hand in hand with VOLTAGE\u2019s concept.\u00a0<strong>Viper Diva<\/strong>, the brand-new project of Taapion Records label owner Shl\u00f8mo and his French countryman Hadone, will also head to the picturesque city of Zwevegem in August.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">VOLTAGE always delivers a fine selection of live sets. This year it\u2019s brought by\u00a0<strong>Karenn<\/strong>, consisting of the renowned duo Blawan and Pariah. As well as the Italian duo\u00a0<strong>999999999<\/strong>, who already blew up the Turbine stage in 2018. The\u00a0<strong>British Murder Boys<\/strong>, aka Regis and Surgeon, who have not performed in Belgium<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>for 11 years (apart from their performance in C12). Last but definitely not least, five amazing live sets brought by: the Germans\u00a0<strong>Desroi\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Shed,<\/strong>\u00a0the English duo\u00a0<strong>AnD<\/strong>\u00a0and the Belgians\u00a0<strong>Techno Thriller<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>SiWEI<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">VOLTAGE\u2019s line-up is \u2013 as always \u2013 to die for, especially for techno-adventurers looking for innovations in the scene.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>The bill includes the German\u00a0<strong>SPFDJ<\/strong>, who is a resident at the revolutionary queer concept &#8220;Herrensauna&#8221;. She will bring a rough set which partygoers can attend at their own risk. The Danish DJ and label owner,\u00a0<strong>Courtesy<\/strong>, who is praised for her unique sound consisting of fast, streamlined stompers with a hint of electro and wrong-speed EBM.\u00a0<strong>Inhalt der Nacht<\/strong>, founder of the labels Modul &amp; Lebendig, resident DJ at the famous Berlin club Griessmuehle and considered as one of the most promising artists of the moment, will be expected. To top things off VOLTAGE booked the Dutchman named\u00a0<strong>Identified Patient<\/strong>. This frequently asked DJ at the avant-garde club &#8220;De School&#8221;, is widely praised for his signature sound, namely an experimental sound that floats between techno and acid.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The artists will be divided over three stages: the Anode, the Turbine and since 2018, the Rotor stage. Several organizations are<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>given the opportunity to host their own stage and to let their DJ selection go wild on the VOLTAGE fans<strong>.<\/strong>\u00a0There will be six hosts, including three returning ones: the French collective\u00a0<strong>Possession<\/strong>, the Ghent techno concept\u00a0<strong>Kozzmozz\u00a0<\/strong>and the Ghent acid organization\u00a0<strong>Rimbu<\/strong>. Brand new hosts are\u00a0<strong>Fuse<\/strong>, the longest running\u00a0<strong>\u2018<\/strong>techno temple<strong>\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0in Belgium,\u00a0<strong>C12<\/strong>\u00a0that finished second in the &#8220;Belgian club top 30&#8221; at the 2019 Red Bull Elektropedia awards and\u00a0<strong>Voltage Imprint<\/strong>, the eponymous label with promising Belgian talents.
