Local acts\u00a0<strong>The Dualz<\/strong>\u00a0(live) and\u00a0<strong>Bartok &amp; Canadas<\/strong>\u00a0will also be in action from 11 in the morning!<\/p>\n<p>This new date was officially disclosed on mid-May, when French government clearly said no public gathering would be allowed until September. Since then, the Family Piknik\u2019s team talked with\u00a0<strong>Montpellier Airport<\/strong>\u00a0(which holds a special event with them since 2018) to imagine a new hybrid event, combining their amazing location &#8211; next to the planes &#8211; with some of the key points of Family Piknik&#8217;s unique concept : open-air, day\/night open hours (from 11am to 4am), pique-nique and limited capacity (5000) accordingly to the Covid-19 context.<\/p>\n<p>The big stage that was already developed for the initial July festival will be installed in the heart of a new space, much larger in size, with a breathtaking view of the slopes. After months of frustration, this party has all it needs to be a mesmerizing event !<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00ab\u00a0We do hope this\u00a0terrible\u00a0health crisis will be behind us in September because we put all our energy in this new event. We&#8217;ve suffered a lot from this crisis, like many of our friends promoters, artists and festivals. All these\u00a0months of forced\u00a0inactivity have a serious impact on our structure and it threatens our whole project. Being able to host this alternative event on September 12nd is a kind of last chance opportunity to save our year and imagine a brighter future to celebrate properly our 10th birthday next summer !
