The first edition of S\u00f3nar Lisboa<\/strong> will be held this year with 40 more acts on the bill. Among the acts that have been added to the programme are Arca, Bicep, Overmono, Richie Hawtin, Nkisi, Total Freedom <\/strong>and Elkka<\/strong>. It was previously announced that Honey Dijon, Floating Points, Charlotte de Witte, Thundercat, IAMDDB<\/strong> and others will perform at the Lisbon event.<\/p>\n

With this first edition, S\u00f3nar Lisbon <\/strong>joins the more than 100 festivals <\/strong>held to date in more than 20 countries.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The first edition of the festival will take place on 8, 9 and 10 April<\/strong> simultaneously at the Pavilh\u00e3o Carlos Lopes, the Coliseu dos Recreios and the Centro de Congressos de Lisboa, along with the Hub Criativo do Beato for S\u00f3nar+D activities. In total, four emblematic spaces that will make up a journey of discovery through the Portuguese capital<\/strong> through advanced music, creativity and technology.<\/p>\n

S\u00f3nar Lisboa, like Barcelona festival, has scheduled 3 days and 2 nights<\/strong> and incorporates a focus on themes such as sustainability, science, technology and creativity.<\/p>\n

According to a press release, the festival will host “talks, debates, workshops, immersive experiences and exhibitions focusing on sustainability as an underlying principle in the intersections between science, technology and artistic creativity”<\/em>.<\/p>\n
