Each event features a new music commission from one of the UK\u2019s most exciting young composers.<\/p>\n<p>Following its sold-out Printworks debut in 2021, <strong>Aurora Orchesta<\/strong> will return to the venue on <strong>Thursday 23 March 2023<\/strong> for two immersive site-specific performances from memory (6pm &amp; 9pm). In partnership with iconic electronic music venue <strong>Printworks and Southbank Centre<\/strong>, the shows are co-curated by multi-disciplinary artist <strong>Nwando Ebizie<\/strong>, who has created new music to frame the movements of the symphony.<\/p>\n<p>With the orchestra <em>\u2018exploded\u2019<\/em> across the space, listeners will be able to experience the music from inside, getting up close to instrumentalists as they perform in ways that would be impossible in a concert hall.<\/p>\n<p>Also exploded in time, movements of the symphony will be interspersed with sound and light installations, enabling audience members to uncover the secrets of the building and choose their own path through this great work.<\/p>\n<p>For experienced concertgoers and classical newcomers alike, this event will offer a completely fresh and revelatory take on Beethoven\u2019s music.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Aurora Orchestra @ Printworks London - 11th November 2021\" width=\"1300\" height=\"731\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qinOy9_BLm0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Later the same week, <strong>Aurora Orchesta<\/strong> will present <strong>Beethoven 5<\/strong> again, this time at the Southbank Centre\u2019s Queen Elizabeth Hall.
