Hi Manu, it’s a pleasure to interview you. You are a purebred Ibizan, do you think that influences your sound?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Hi guys, it\u2019s a pleasure for me to do this interview! Being born and bred in Ibiza, and involved with the islan\u2019s nightlife growth since I was 17 years old has definitely influenced my sound. I have it in my veins! I worked on the legendary vinyl record store Delta Discos since the age of 16 before I broke through as an international DJ and producer and that was my preparation for becoming a music selector (DJ).<\/p>\n

Can you tell us about the first time you went clubbing in Ibiza?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

I went clubbing from a very, very young age. My first clubbing experience was at 15 on the Amnesia terrace. It was incredible, I went with my brother\u2019s friends and some adult family friends. It blew my mind! At that time I was already very into music. Years later when I played for the first time on the Amnesia terrace it was like going back in time!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/b><\/h4>\n

You have experienced the evolution of clubbing on the island from a young age, what are the most significant changes you have seen?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

I truly believe the island is moving in the right direction. I do see a lot of people complaining about the path that Ibiza is following, but there is something not many people think about: electronic music has many genres, and evolution is key. We offer 7 days a week what people consider the best line-ups on the scene at the best clubs in the world; if the changes that Ibiza took to make this happen are not significant, what else would be? Content and evolution in entertainment are KING, and we have been the best at doing that for decades. This is the path.<\/p>\n

Your DJ sets have an old-school vibe that clubbers love, but you can also easily adapt to new trends, do you think that versatility is the key to your success?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

I think the key in my long career has been consistency. In all ways. Evolve, adapt and believe: make it with passion or don\u2019t make it at all!<\/p>\n

What did it mean for your career to participate in NOW HERE last year?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

For me to be a regular at NOW HERE has been a dream. I have played many times with\/for Paco but being part of his baby NOW HERE in Ibiza was really special for many reasons, not only because Paco is someone I look up to as a reference but also as someone who represents the island and the country. What Paco has achieved is unique and it\u2019s an understatement to say I\u2019m proud to be part of it.<\/p>\n

In your opinion, Manu, what makes NOW HERE different from other parties in Ibiza?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

NOW HERE is a vibe, it is the past, the present and the future mixed all together, it\u2019s an opportunity, it\u2019s life. NOW HERE is living in the moment. You need to experience it, the night is a journey and the energy is exploding!<\/p>\n

This is not the first time you have collaborated with Paco, you have performance before at the Mindshake parties and also produced for the label, how did your relationship with Paco Osuna came about?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

I have been close to Paco for years, he is a good friend, a mentor, and someone close to my heart. I have released music on Mindshake, played at his events, travelled with him.. (slept on his sofa! haha x ) I met Paco trough music, and this is all that matters to us. He is the most passionate person I have ever met, music-wise. When I had the opportunity to have him close to my career everything changed for obvious reasons: having someone in your career who has made their way to the level any artist dreams about makes a big impact. Thank you Paco \u2764\ufe0f<\/p>\n

Your career as a producer is also outstanding, do you already have a predetermined idea of what you want when you enter the studio, or do you let yourself be carried away?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

I like to work with anything I feel on that day. I\u2019m totally carried away by my mood, the weather or the energy inside me \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Besides your participation in NOW HERE, what other plans do you have for this summer?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

This is the biggest season of my 17-year career! I\u2019m going to be playing for Paco at NOW HERE @ H\u00ef Ibiza, also for ANTS at Ushuaia, DEFECTED records, El Row.. Chinois with Luciano and friends. I will also be playing a huge open-air historic show at Ibiza port with Luciano and Franky Wah. Ibiza 2023 is such a great season for me \ud83d\ude09 Away from the island, I will be playing in London, Madrid, Barcelona, Malta, Mexico, Chile, many places! Ibiza representation on fire!<\/p>\n
