As a piece of public art, it brings both beauty and a strong message of hope and Peace. Ibiza is a beacon to the world and will emit Carlito’s beautiful message, and the intention of Club Chinois, far and wide around the planet.\u2019 <\/i>Vaitiare Gout Fila and Elizabeth Smith of SmithVaitiare Art Curators and Consultants <\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Club Chinois <\/b>is about the world\u2019s best electronic music, \u2018from the dancefloor up\u2019<\/em>, but the visual impact of the club is vital too, with its diverse blend of ancient Asian opulence and multicultural style \u2013 and now, Club Chinois is proud to present an original major public artwork, <\/b>created for the club and for Ibiza by renowned artist Carlito Dalceggio<\/b> with multifaceted projection mapping artist Oliver Allaux, <\/b>in the form of \u2018Unseen Untouched Unknown\u2019<\/em> a 15mx4m multimedia mural which adorns the fa\u00e7ade of the Marina Botafoch club and so is on public view \u2013 for clubbers, locals, tourists alike. <\/strong>The warmly colourful mural depicts elements from various creation myths and symbols (First Nations America, Africa, Ancient Greece\u2026). Multiple layers of colour, words, and harmonising elements are video-mapped onto the painting.<\/p>\n

\"\"\u2018<\/i><\/b>Carlito embodies all that we believe in and all that the island represents \u2013 love, beauty, transformation and joy. To be able to share his work with the community of Ibiza is the greatest honour imaginable,\u2019 <\/em>says Sofija Mehta, Club Chinois founder and champion of the arts, who with the help of art curators SmithVaitiare commissioned the piece from Carlito. The choice of Carlito, Quebec, Canada-born of Italian family was a natural one. Carlito, who describes himself as a nomad, travels the world spending time with far flung indigenous cultures such as Native American, Masai, Mexican \u2026, creating work inspired by their influences. Carlito drew inspiration too from Ibiza\u2019s colours, sunsets, wildlife, and architecture.<\/p>\n

\u2018The spirit of my work is really primitive. I paint with ancient gestures and Oliver brings the future with technology – and this I believe is the way to find harmony on the planet, where both can become one\u2019 \u2013 <\/i>Carlito Dalceggio, artist.<\/p>\n
