Taking place Friday the 14th of March 2025<\/strong> at London\u2019s esteemed Roundhouse,<\/strong> pioneering electronic composer and multi-disciplinary artist Max Cooper explores the intersections of art and science through his new \u2018LATTICE 3D\/AV\u2019 show<\/strong> – his most ambitious live system yet. Highlighting his vision of elevating electronic music as an art form, the influential artist takes over London\u2019s iconic Roundhouse for an elevated live experience, built with input from his audience.<\/p>\n

Lattice 3D\/AV<\/strong> is Max Cooper’s latest immersive audio-visual performance system<\/strong>. Comprising projections, semi transparent layers, lights and lasers working together in unison to form extruded imagery that jumps off the screens into the audience, wrapping them in sculptures of light which tell the story of Max Cooper’s latest ‘On Being’ album alongside back catalogue content and reworks. Every show is unique and designed for the space and event, presented as a conversation with both the audience and the architecture through light and sound. As is usual for Max’s live performances, the project can be catered to seated or standing events, stereo or immersive sound, classical or techno, given his rich catalogue of genre-spanning musical and visual content.<\/p>\n

Lattice 3DAV tells the story of our emergence, impact and inner lives, drawing on Max\u2019s extensive back catalogue as well as the database of publicly submitted quotes and resulting visual collaborations which form his latest album and accompanying installation.<\/p>\n

\u201cI’m bringing my new show Lattice 3DAV to the Roundhouse on 14 March. Lattice is my latest immersive audio-visual performance system with Architecture Social Club. Comprising projections, semi-transparent layers, lights and lasers working together in unison to form extruded imagery that jumps off the screens into the audience, wrapping you in sculptures of light which tell the story of my latest album project \u2018On Being\u2019 album alongside new visual collaborations and the full-back catalogue. It\u2019s my most ambitious live system to date and this will be the first outing if you\u2019d like to delve into the experiment with me.\u201d<\/em> – MAX COOPER<\/strong><\/p>\n

For his newest album \u201cOn Being\u201d<\/em> released in February 2025<\/strong> with the first single \u2018Sun In A Box\u2019<\/em> out now<\/strong>, Max Cooper has been on a two-year journey inverting the creative process by collecting hundreds of anonymous quotes and posting engaging emotional questions such as “What would you like to express which you cannot in everyday life?”<\/em> and “What is it like to exist inside your head?”<\/em> exploring what it means to be human today. In addition to the 3D-AV show, Cooper has exhibited installations to inspire fans at W1 Curates Oxford Street.<\/p>\n

This interactive piece, created with Ksawery Komputery and Minjeong An, invites attendees to add their own thoughts in real time.
\nWith On Being, Cooper has aimed to investigate and gather feelings under the surface of social media to “create a snapshot of our minds these days,”<\/em> by asking people to share anonymously what they dare not ever say publicly. The result is an emotionally raw and shockingly honest kaleidoscope of confessions, ranging from suicide contemplations to miserable marriages to simple pure loneliness, contrasting with hundreds of anonymous confessions of love and longing.<\/p>\n

Roundhouse is an iconic music and arts venue that has been championing creativity in music and the arts since the 1960s. The Roundhouse is a performing arts and concert venue at the Grade II* listed former railway engine shed in Chalk Farm, London, England. The building was erected in 1846\u20131847 by the London & North Western Railway as a roundhouse, a circular building containing a railway turntable, but was used for that purpose for only about a decade. Today the venue is a hub of culture offering an extensive range of music, theatre and education for those to enjoy.<\/p>\n
