Thank you. So far, it\u2019s been an exciting year. We have three residencies on the go, alongside a number of other clients with a strong presence on the island. The residencies in particular are having a great summer and are on track to far exceed last season\u2019s attendance numbers.<\/span><\/p>\n Across Forward Motion as a whole, we\u2019ve had our clients play over 120 shows in Ibiza this season, which really speaks to the strength of the roster and our presence on the island. And that\u2019s before you even take into account the wider Three Six Zero group.<\/span><\/p>\n I\u2019m the owner and director of Forward Motion Artists, a management company that is part of the larger Three Six Zero group, where I\u2019m also a partner. We manage a diverse roster of artists, bands, labels and event brands within electronic music, including Jamie Jones, Paradise, Bedouin, Saga, Francis Mercier, Sol\u00e8y, Hot Natured, Lee Burridge, All Day I Dream, Fleur Shore, Bontan, The Modern Love Affair and many more. My role is really focused on artist development, strategy and helping build long-term careers and brands.<\/span><\/p>\n For me personally, the biggest challenge is finding the balance between the daytime workload and the nights. With three full residencies every week: Sunday, Monday and Wednesday, the schedule gets pretty intense. At the same time, I\u2019m keeping up with the day-to-day office work, meetings and all of our other clients coming through the island and playing different events throughout the season. It definitely makes for a very full schedule, but it\u2019s also an exciting position to be in.<\/span><\/p>\n Absolutely. None of this would be possible without a strong team around each event. Each brand has its own group of dedicated people focused specifically on that project, as well as eight individuals from our internal team that works across all of them. That allows us to communicate, compare notes and learn from what\u2019s working across each of the residencies.<\/span><\/p>\n It\u2019s been really exciting to see how naturally Sol\u00e8y has found its place within the H\u00ef Ibiza program this year, especially on a Monday. Monday is definitely one of the more challenging nights of the week, but I think the rapid growth and trajectory of both Francis and Sol\u00e8y, combined with the fact that we\u2019re offering something genuinely different from the other events happening that night, has given us a great recipe for success.<\/span><\/p>\n What\u2019s been especially encouraging is seeing the audience really connect with the identity of the party. Sol\u00e8y has its own sound, energy and community around it, and we\u2019ve been able to bring that into H\u00ef while still allowing the event to evolve within such a major venue. Each week has been stronger than the last, and you can really feel the momentum building as the season goes on.<\/span><\/p>\n Saga really comes down to the music. That\u2019s what has always made it special. The sets from Bedouin and the way they program the line-ups create something that feels genuinely different from anything else you can experience on the island. In recent years, they\u2019ve had the freedom to play exactly what they want and book exactly who they want, and I think staying true to that vision has proven to be the right path.<\/span><\/p>\n At the same time, the performers and production have become a huge part of the Saga experience. There\u2019s a real attention to detail in how the night looks and feels, and all of those elements work together to create an atmosphere that is uniquely Saga without ever taking away from the music.<\/span><\/p>\n The numbers have grown even further this year for a number of reasons, but more than anything, Bedouin and Saga just feel like they\u2019re really in a groove. There\u2019s a confidence and identity to the night that has developed naturally over time. After eight years, to still see it growing and evolving while maintaining what made it special in the first place is pretty incredible. For me, it remains one of the island\u2019s most special nights.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\tFor those who may not know you, could you explain who you are and what you do within the electronic music scene?<\/b><\/h4>\n
This summer, you are leading three major parties in Ibiza: Jamie Jones’ Paradise, Bedouin’s Saga and Francis Mercier’s Sol\u00e8y. If organising one project in Ibiza is already challenging, we can only imagine what it must be like to manage three. What are the biggest challenges you face with such a demanding workload?<\/b><\/h4>\n
