I started working in a record store with 16, while I still was in school in Bavaria and only paid myself in records. My first proper gigs were in Vienna with 18, Subzero and then later at Flex & Sass. I also helped to organise a truck at the loveparade vienna, where we played vinyl, yes on the truck. What’s your current project that most excites you? That my focus is finally on Defex. I have built my dream-studio, releases are coming on Cocoon, Moon Harbour, Pokerflat, Moodmusic, Kittball, Heideton, Raft & more. I work on remixes for Giorgio Moroder, Italo Brutalo, Kevin Saunderson’s label KMS & Supernova’s Lapsus. And I have residencies at Pikes & 528 Ibiza, Nuua Lisbon and gigs all around Europe. What was your career milestone? For sure co-creating and hosting The Zoo Project. We created the event we wanted to go to as ravers in the best location on this island - if not planet. I’m very happy that I’m back there now as resident of 528. Your favorite city? Ibiza, this crazy place somehow always shows me that I belong here. Your favorite artist? Harry Romero, Markus Suckut, Avision. Your star record? A impossible question, but some tracks I still play after 25 years or more. I choose one that I took a train 150km to Munich for, when it finally was repressed: The Soulchip - Let’s Rock (Novy vs Eniac Remix). ¿Tu primera vez pinchando con vinilos fue en donde y en qué año? En el chamizo que teníamos todos los colegas en Burgos, allá por el 2000… ¿Tu proyecto actual que más ilusionado te tiene? El Vitorino fotógrafo, que es mi profesión y también el live que estoy preparando como hobbie. ¿Tu hito que marcó tu carrera?
