TIME LOST:

30 HOURS OF FESTIVAL ON THE STAGE OF THE SHOOTING OF STAR WARS

Les Dunes Electroniques was founded in 2014 as a collaboration between the Ministry of Tourism and Tunisian artisans. After three years, the festival returns in 2019 from 21 to 22 September.

The event takes place in Ong Jmel, near Nefta, at the gateway to Tunisia’s southern desert, known worldwide as the scene of Luke Skywalker’s birthplace, in the well-known Star Wars saga.

This interesting musical adventure will last 30 hours of uninterrupted music with more than 30 artists on the bill. The festival will also extend to the medina of Nefta and Tozeur and offer a multidisciplinary program that will make the entire region vibrate at an electronic pace for three days between exceptional natural landscapes.

The mission of the event is to contribute to local development and tourism in the Jerid region, from Nefta to Tozeur. The event takes place with the strong support of the Minister of Tourism of Tunisia.

An unprecedented format for an exceptional natural setting, and a selection of guest artists who will soon be unveiled… all the ingredients come together to make this third edition an unforgettable date.
