AVA ANNOUNCE FULL PROGRAMME AND SCHEDULE FOR MUTLI-DAY, MUTLI-VENUE FORMAT.

With just one week to go, AVA is set to welcome over 100 artists & speakers, across 40 different sessions delivering London’s most dynamic conference outing for the digital arts & music industry. Taking place across The British Library, The Standard, KOKO & HERE at Outernet, the new collective home will host keynotes and panels from thought leaders, gamechangers, innovators, leaders and masterminds from Audio-Visual-Arts across the world with the themes Future, Community, Impact, and Pathways.

TikTok will join the event to present a keynote conversation with Kenya Grace, an artist who has taken the industry by storm, had a UK no.1 hit with ‘Strangers’ and utilised the TikTok platform to carve out a new lane for themselves. Online travel platform Trippin’ will present two talks; Beyond hype – ‘how micro scenes are influencing global trends’ with DJ Lomalinda (TraTraTrax), Romana (MasterPLANO), Derek Debru (Nyege Nyege), Paul Geddis – Head of International Press (Sónar). The session will explore how subcultures have a global impact on trends. Drawing on pop-culture, they will also host a panel on “Contemporary Culture Curating” with Amar Ediriwira (Boiler Room), Frankie Wells (Foundation FM), Nick Hadfield (The Standard) and Halina Kaszycka-Williams (The British Library).

Discussing nightlife beyond the UK and how it is relevant to our landscape one of the main talks will be dissecting ‘The Future of International Nightlife’ with Amy Lamé (London Night Czar), Lutz Leichsenring, (Berlin Club Commission), Judy Griffith (Fabric) and Amy Van-Baaren (RA) headed by Georgia Taglietti (AFEM). One of the UK’s most reputable booking agencies OneHouse will be hosting a ‘Fireside Chat’ alongside some of their artists and management: Eliza Rose, Yung Singh, Napper Tandy and Barry Davies. The agency will also be presenting an insightful segment into ‘Building a sustainable career’ with Krystal Roxx in conversation with Kieran Mallon and Sandy Marris.

On an audio-visual arts tip, ‘It’s Nice That’ will present a Q&A focussed on visual narratives and digital experiences with London and Amsterdam-based digital arts studio and consultancy agency Pitch Studios. The world’s largest community of independent artists and businesses made up of over 250 collaborators ‘Tileyard Studios’ will be leading a production-focused talk backed by their experience in building over 85 bespoke studios for the world’s leading artists, composers and producers. Music technology outfit Vochlea will be hosting a session around using your voice as a MIDI controller.

Focussing on a new dawn for international festivals, two of the globe’s leading contemporary festival promoters Sónar + Mutek will come together in a session titled “Forging New Horizons for Festivals” to discuss topics such as decentralisation, digital ecosystems and working together for a new future. Festivals are vital nodes in our cultural nervous system, as the world becomes increasingly globalised, the internationalisation of festivals has been inevitable. Proving to be a huge success at last years AVA Conference, The Game Changers panel returns with four key industry professionals including Jamz Supernova (BBC Radio 6), A&R lead Josh Mateer (TikTok), Amy Frenchum – mgmt (Ezra Collective) and Diluk Dias, CEO & Founder, AEI. Hosted by journalist Kate Hutchinson, this panel focuses on individuals who throughout their careers have played a role in facilitating a significant shift in the way of thinking about the landscape of electronic music.

Developing a monumental conference, AVA has also devised a legendary club programme with some of dance music’s highest in-demand artists such as Marlon Hoffstadt AKA Daddy Trance bringing his full-throttle hard dance to KOKO. Alongside him will be DJ Boring, Or:La b2b Spray, Amaliah b2b Danielle, Byron Yeates, DJ AYA, Aika Mal and Sloucho.
