BILBAO BBK LIVE CLOSES 2025 LINE-UP WITH THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF KAYTRANADA, DAMIANO DAVID, AVALON EMERSON AND MORE.

Bilbao BBK Live returns to Kobetamendi on 10–12 July 2025, reaffirming its commitment to diversity and artistic exploration. This year’s edition will feature over 80 artists, bringing together established icons, breakthrough talent, and fresh new voices while continuing to celebrate female and queer talent with an alternative perspective. A day led by female headliners underscores the festival’s dedication to creative freedom, with a programme that transcends genres and expectations. More than just a music event, Bilbao BBK Live offers an immersive experience where attendees connect with the rhythm of the festival, the city, and the unique surroundings of Kobetamendi.

Today the festival unveils a second and final wave of stellar artists, including Damiano David, Avalon Emerson, Kaytranada, Octo Octa, Manuka Honey, CC:DISCO!, Sparks, Sal del Coche, Fafi Abdel Nour, and more.

THURSDAY 10 JULY

PULP, KAYTRANADA, MICHAEL KIWANUKA, BICEP, CA7RIEL Y PACO AMOROSO, JAPANESE BREAKFAST.

The festival will kick off on Thursday, 10 July, with Pulp, one of the most iconic bands of all time, making their debut in Bilbao as one of the festival’s headliners. A defining name in Britpop, the British band will lead a day that balances history and modernity, making their long-awaited performance in Kobetamendi one of the standout moments of 2025’s edition. Joining them is Kaytranada, the architect of modern electronic groove, who will bring his Grammy-winning fusion of house, hip-hop, and R&B, promising a set of effortless rhythm and style on his ‘Timeless Tour’. Michael Kiwanuka, whose blend of folk, rock, and soul has redefined contemporary singer-songwriting, and BICEP present CHROMA (AV DJ set), an immersive show that will transform the stage into an audiovisual journey. Also joining the lineup today are Hinds, who are returning to the festival with their unstoppable energy. Other highlights of Thursday’s lineup include emerging UK talents English Teacher and Wunderhouse, alongside Spanish names like Cala Vento, Pablopablo, and Hofe. Representing the local scene, Mirua and Tatta & Denso reaffirming the festival’s continuous support and celebration of grassroots talent.

FRIDAY 11 JULY

RAYE, BAD GYAL, AMAIA, AMYL & THE SNIFFERS, POLO&PAN, ORBITAL, JESSICA PRATT.

Friday at Bilbao BBK Live puts women at the forefront, headlined by the powerhouse vocals of Raye and the genre-bending energy of dancehall queen Bad Gyal. Joining them, Spanish phenomenon Amaia will bring her signature sensitivity and acclaimed third album, while Amyl & The Sniffers will inject raw punk energy into the mix. On the electronic front, Polo & Pan will be blending their tropical house with dreamy soundscapes, alongside Orbital, one of the final missing pieces in Bilbao BBK Live’s electronic music legacy. Jalen Ngonda channels timeless soul, Jessica Pratt delivers delicate folk, while Obongjayar and Sofie Royer add a dynamic mix of raw intensity and sophistication. The Basque music scene is well represented, with Sal del Coche and Xsakara reinforcing the festival’s deep local connection.

SATURDAY 12 JULY

Kylie Minogue takes the spotlight on the festival’s final day, reaffirming her status as one of the festival’s major headliners. Arriving at Kobetamendi with ‘Tension I’I, she promises a dazzling live show. Joining her is the electrifying Nathy Peluso, known for her genre-blurring sound and commanding stage presence. Damiano David, frontman of Måneskin, will make his solo show debut in Spain with his album ‘FUNNY little FEARS’, a bold step into his artistic evolution.

With over 50 years of innovation, Sparks have shaped the landscape of performative pop, inspiring generations with their inimitable wit and creativity. In a fitting tribute, Hidrogenesse—often seen as their Spanish counterparts—will open for Sparks, celebrating 25 years with ‘Así se baila el siglo XX’, a joyous homage to eccentricity, irony, and uninhibited dance. The festival finale belongs to The Blessed Madonna presenting ‘WE STILL BELIEVE’, a euphoric celebration of diversity and dancefloor culture. L’Impératrice will bring their sleek fusion of French pop and funk, while Makaya McCraven, a trailblazer in contemporary jazz, will add a layer of sonic exploration to the day. New to the lineup is Heartworms,  injecting a dark, avant-garde edge into post-punk, and Alice Phoebe Lou who will deliver her usual dose of raw emotion through her ethereal folk sound.

The rock lineup surges with energy, led by Carolina Durante, one of Spain’s defining rock bands, alongside Fat Dog’s irreverent British punk and Viva Belgrado’s intense post-hardcore. Sidonie, another newly confirmed act, bring their signature mix of pop, psychedelia, and festive rock. The emerging scene will shine through with Amateur (ex-La Buena Vida), Malko (Maketa Lehiaketa winners), and Janus Lester, each adding a fresh touch to a day that bridges legacy with new talent.

Set in the stunning hills of Kobetamendi, just minutes from Bilbao’s city centre,  Bilbao BBK Live is more than a festival—it’s a world of its own. From the first beat to the final encore, every edition weaves unforgettable memories of magical moments, leaving its mark long after the music fades.
