BIMINI & MIIA MAGIA JOIN HE.SHE.THEY. AS FIRST NEW RESIDENTS IN FIVE YEARS.

Drag icon, model, and rising DJ talent Bimini (they/she), alongside Scandinavian techno queen Miia Magia, has been announced as the newest resident DJ’s for global event series and record label HE.SHE.THEY., joining existing residents SYREETA, Wax Wings, Maze & Masters.

HE.SHE.THEY. also unveil a stacked Spring/Summer tour schedule, with stops in Paris, Austin, Miami, Copenhagen, Tallinn, and Berlin – plus more to be announced. The lineup so far includes Ellen Allien, DJ Bone, FJAAK, LSDXOXO, Metarph, Julia Gover, Hutch, DIØN, Don Woezik, Krl Mx, PISAPIA, TRIPTYKH, Eats Everything, Special Request, SYREETA, and Emily Nash, plus many more.

Bimini makes their residency debut in Birmingham on April 17, followed by Miia Magia taking the decks in Estonia on April 26 – full dates below.

The partnership marks a significant milestone for both artists. Bimini has experienced a rapid rise in the electronic music scene, playing everything from underground techno to jump-up house and rave classics, after captivating audiences on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, while Motto Sono Records, boss’ Miia Magia has been building a reputation for her hypnotic dub techno and headsy house sets across European dance floors. Before the residency kicks off, Bimini tore up the decks at HE.SHE.THEY. x Torture Garden.

Known for their boundary-pushing performances and unapologetic artistic expression, the addition of both artists to the HE.SHE.THEY. family reinforces the collective’s commitment to championing diverse talents who challenge conventions and celebrate inclusivity. The residency will see both artists perform at HE.SHE.THEY. Events throughout 2025, across the UK, Europe and beyond as well as releasing mixes together for HE.SHE.THEY.’s BBC Radio 1 show and Apple Mix series.

Founded in 2018, HE.SHE.THEY. has established itself as a powerful force in creating safer, inclusive spaces for people of all gender identities, sexualities, and backgrounds. Since then the brand has hosted countless sold-out events at the world’s most respected venues and festivals in 20+ countries and 50+ cities around the world, including Coachella, Glastonbury, Tomorrowland, and a three-year residency at Ibiza superclub Amnesia. Most recently shortlisted for a Dance Impact Award at this year’s BBC R1 Dance Awards and Best Club Event at DJ Mag’s Best of British Awards 2024, HE.SHE.THEY. continues to push boundaries in the global club scene. Artists from Sara Landry through to Honey Dijon have played for the brand, with releases and remixes on the label from TSHA, LSDXOXO, Maya Jane Coles, and many more.

The addition of Bimini and Miia Magia strengthens an already impressive resident lineup that includes original residents Wax Wings, Maze & Masters, and breakout star SYREETA, who has carved out a huge career in her own right, playing with Carl Cox, Skepta, Loco Dice, Jamie Jones, Eats Everything, and Joseph Capriati around the world—from Coachella to Time Warp—in addition to her HE.SHE.THEY. duties.

Miia Magia added, “To become a resident DJ for HE.SHE.THEY. is a dream come true. After two decades of studying the electronic music scene and reaching out from Helsinki it is rewarding to be heard. To work with a team that is run by love, egolessness, honest hard work, support for an artist’s freedom, mutual respect, and cooperation is just ultra refreshing! To share the values and desire for bringing people together, to feel less lonely in the world is the ultimate key for me (too) to DJ and to make people dance. The last, but not least, I fucking love to party big time avec good, loud music, and that’s what we are gonna do together!”

We started booking lots of shows together, so it just made sense for them to be welcomed into our family of residents.”
