TIME LOST:

CAFE MAMBO ANNOUNCES CLOSING PARTY WITH DANNY TENAGLIA

Café Mambo closes it’s 25th season by welcoming the eminent New York-based DJ and Grammy-nominated record producer, Danny Tengalia to the iconic sunset spot for the very first time before he carries on the evening at Pacha for the Pure Pacha Closing Party.

Legendary New York hub Paradise Garage is where Tengalia DJ inspiration began. With hard work and dedication it wasn’t long until he gained recognition for his work, with famed residencies Twilo and Vinyl as-well as numerous support from key players of the music spectrum from Jamiroquai, Green Velvet, Tribal Records and more. His distinct hard yet soulful sound will grace Mambo’s decks next Saturday 12th October for Pacha’s pre party, accompanied by Café Mambo’s most esteemed residents Jason Bye, Erik Hagleton, Andy Baxter, Danny O and Ryan Mcdermott to mark a monumental end to the season.

Set in the heart of San Antonio, Café Mambo is recognised for its unrivalled sunset views. It was created during the 90s house music heyday and received instant recognition, being named ‘Bar of the Year’ by GQ as its following grew rapidly. DJs began to frequent the bar requesting to play on the decks and before long regular sets included the biggest names in dance music playing at the now celebrated sunset ‘pre-party’. With the 2019 season marking 25 years as the White Isle’s ultimate idyllic haven, the venue is again welcoming a fine array of stellar acts back to the famous booth.

Marking a quarter of a century as the ultimate hotspot for iconic sunset sets, Cafe Mambo has delivered another showstopping season of parties – and one that has maintained their reputation for pioneering balearic culture – with appearances from Fatboy Slim, Fisher, Martin Solvieg, MistaJam, Riva Starr and Sophie Ellis Bextor.

Café Mambo’s 2019 closing party brings to an end what has been another groundbreaking summer for the famed venue on Saturday 12th October, with table reservations and bookings available here.
