DGTL BARCELONA CANCELS ITS WINTER EDITION DUE TO LOGISTICAL PROBLEMS DERIVED FROM COVID-19.

A month ago, DGTL realized that it had the opportunity to meet the DGTL audience after 2.5 years of absence in Barcelona. The organization felt it needed to do this for the local DGTL followers, but also for the suppliers, creatives and artists that have suffered this last years because together with all the culture scene. Despite having had a limited time, the Barcelona and Amsterdam team have been working together to take forward this very special Winter Edition that anticipated a splendid end of the year in Barcelona. However, after discussions with both local and Dutch teams, the Barcelona Winter Edition 2021 had to be cancelled. It is not a decision taken lightly, but there is no other option than not to celebrate this long-awaited event since there are several logistical issues that prevent celebrating it as planned. 

Because DGTL truly values everyone who has supported the festival throughout the last weeks and two years since the start of the pandemic, it wants to offer a free transfer ticket for the next summer edition, coming on the 2nd and 3rd of September 2022. Plus a free ticket per person for that event, so fans can celebrate with a friend (they will be able to choose which day they would like to attend once the lineup by day is announced). Nevertheless, ticket holders can request a refund as well.
