DJ AWARDS ANNOUNCE 2019 CATEGORIES AND NOMINEES

After two months of working alongside industry professionals, this year’s nominees reflect a growth of nearly 50% more female artists nominated since 2017 and a staggering 54% are new nominees. While continuing to support those at the forefront, it also supports a combination of new nominees in the awards.

At the 22nd edition, HEART Ibiza will welcome the electronic music industry while paying tribute to the professionals who are part of this great community. It will be a special event that will take place throughout the night with dinner, cocktail, ceremony and party.

Over the past 20 years, there have been some incredible winners at the ceremony, including Anna, Andy C, Adam Beyer, Armin van Buuren, Black Coffee, Carl Cox, David Guetta, Daft Punk, Faithless, Hannah Wants, Luciano, Jamie Jones, Joseph Capriati, Seth Troxler, Solomun and Claptone.

Among the winners of the industry awards has been received: Awakenings, Caprices Festival, Dimension Festival, BPM Festival, Tomorrowland, Drumcode, Innervisions, Deeperfect, Sonar, Soundcloud, ADE, WMC and International Music Summit.

In addition to the music categories, 10 evening industry awards will be presented, which will be decided between: Cutting Edge, Dance Nation, Electronic Music Pioneer, Ibiza DJ, Ibiza Music Event in collaboration with Pure Ibiza Radio, Ibiza Night, International Festival in association with FAZE mag, Producer, Track of the season and Record Label of the Year.
