DOCKYARDS HOST THREE NEW FESTIVALS THIS JULY.

Presented by Broadwick Live, Silvertown’s riverside space, Dockyards, will host three new festivals this July, in partnership with some of the biggest names in electronic music, including Solid Grooves, Armin Van Buuren’s A State Of Trance and Worried About Henry. Each day and night session will bring together top talent, family and friends from each collective’s circles, and will take place at Dockyards, an urban space in Silvertown, East London.

DOCKYARDS : SOLID GROOVES ON THE DOCK

Solid Grooves will take over the waterside spot for Solid Grooves: On The Dock, a day-long session on the 1st July 2023. Packed with three stages of the finest house grooves and techno beats, the renowned Solid Grooves gang bring a team of their selectors to London for this special event. Brought to you by Broadwick Live (Printworks, Beams) this new series promises to be a highlight in the capital’s festival calendar.

Solid Grooves will unite some of the heaviest names in house and techno across a trifecta of unique arenas. An elite group of talent will represent at this summer soiree, including Solid Grooves regular Jamie Jones plays, co-founder Michael Bibi, and revered house producer and DJ Ben Sterling. Also on the bill are ANOTR, the duo approaching house music with a unique ear and refreshed take on house influenced by disco, soul, jazz and funk, plus MOOD imprint head honcho Nicole Moudaber, and Toman; a name at the heart of the Dutch electronic music underground.

The prolific Skream plays, an original hitter whose expansive career has seen him reach dizzying heights in the house and techno movements, on top of the rest, plus Italian DJ and Producer Silvie Loto, known for her hypnotic and percussive sets. PIV, and Berg Audio associate Kotler joins, another name turning heads. Adding to the talent are upstarts Max Dean, and Blackchild making welcome editions to what will already be a solid-gold set of collective friends and family.

DOCKYARDS : A STATE OF TRANCE

“A State Of Trance”, the epicentre of trance, makes its UK debut at Dockyards on Sunday 2 July. This record label, international festival and podcast series is a global force to be reckoned with. Growing out of a small radio station set up by Armin Van Buuren and co-founder Ruben de Ronde, the label is renowned for its world-class output at some of the biggest festivals in the world. The ASOT showcase will take place on three stages, each with a line-up of carefully selected trance acts as well as some newcomers to the scene.

DOCKYARDS : WORRIED ABOUT HENRY IN THE CITY 

Worried About Henry, which brings together artists from across the spectrum of the bass scene, hosts its first three-stage festival at Dockyards on Sunday 9 July. Known for its rowdy rave parties across the UK, this will be the bass brand’s biggest event to date. High voltage party bands Crucast and Breakin’ Science will host the stages alongside headliners WAH, Chase & Status, Hybrid Minds, Andy C, Wilkinson, Dimension, Friction, Bou and special guest Hedex. The in-demand Kanine, Skepsis, Flava D, Darkzy and many more will bring their raucous energy to the Crucast stage, while the Breakin’ Science collective celebrates its 21st birthday by inviting some of DNB’s most powerful artists to an all-day showcase, including Turno, Serum b2b Mozey, Sub Zero b2b Logan D, legendary special guest DJ Hazard and many more.
