TIME LOST:

HYTE RETURNS TO NEW YORK CITY

HYTE returns to New York having previously held festival events at Governors Island and massive warehouse events in Brooklyn. This year they join Electric Zoo for a one of a kind stage hosting which will see the community driven party bring their carefully curated line ups and special atmosphere to create the unique experience they are known for around the globe. The 10th anniversary of Electric Zoo starts on Friday, August, 31st and will be closed by HYTE on Sunday, September, 2nd.

Located along the East River between Manhattan, Queens and the Bronx, HYTE and Electric Zoo turn the lush green Randall’s Island Park into every festival-goer’s dream. It comes with a cool stage design, which is marked by masterly understatement paired with high aesthetics and function plus the magical backdrop of New York City’s skyline making it a truly immersive festival. HYTE will boast an internationally acclaimed techno line-up that brings underground superstars and contemporary heroes together on one tasteful stage.

Headlining will be real dance music heavyweights in the form of Chris Liebing – the long-time electronic underground music pioneer – and SCI+TEC boss Dubfire, who have been setting trends with their sets at every major festival and club for decades. They play an extra special back to back set that will surely bring the best out of these two titans.

Then comes BBC Radio 1’s famous dance music trendsetter from UK, Pete Tong, who makes and breaks artists and tunes each week with his influential radio show. What he doesn’t know about house and techno assent worth knowing. Also joining the party are Moon Harbour label boss Matthias Tanzmann, known for his famously long sets at DC10 on Ibiza and for being an absolute tech house pioneer, and finally Gregor Tresher, another long-time German talent, producer of never forgotten club hits, Break New Soil and GTO label boss and a constantly innovative producer and DJ who brings real class to the club.
