LA DISCOTHÈQUE CELEBRATES ITS 10TH ANNIVERSARY WITH FIVE PARTIES AT 528 IBIZA THROUGHOUT JULY.
La Discothèque will celebrate its 10th anniversary this year with a special series of five parties taking place every Thursday throughout July at 528 Ibiza. The concept is inspired by the golden age of disco, blending the energy of Paradise Garage with the glamour of Studio 54.
Now marking its fifth summer in Ibiza, the brand has strengthened its presence on the island, bringing its signature musical concept to an ever-growing audience. According to the organizers, La Discothèque revives the spirit of New York’s legendary disco scene and reimagines it for the 21st-century dance floor, with a production defined by feathers and confetti.
The events will begin in the afternoon at the open-air venue of 528 Ibiza before continuing into the night inside the club. The series will open on Thursday, July 2, with Colleen “Cosmo” Murphy, host of New York’s legendary The Loft and a protégé of the late David Mancuso. The opening lineup also features Fleetmac Wood, James Glover, Kirollus, Natasha Diggs, Roxanne Roll and Simon Dunmore. On July 9 and 16, Annie Mac will return to Ibiza for her first performances on the island in eight years.
The renowned DJ, best known for her more than 17-year career at BBC Radio, will be joined on July 9 by Bestley, Crazy P (DJ Set), Daisybelle & Carly Foxx, Gina Breeze and Sophie Joy. She will return on July 16 alongside Dan Shake, Joshua James, Mix-Stress, Santanna Oush and Siggy. The fourth event, on July 23, will feature a highly anticipated back-to-back set from Antal, co-founder of Rush Hour, and Manchester music scene icon Luke Una.
Colleen “Cosmo” Murphy will also return, joined by Ella Knight, Kirollus b2b Marcellus Pittman, Guy Williams, and James Glover b2b Joe Roche b2b Sharples. The series will conclude with La Discothèque presents FAC51 The Haçienda, a celebration of Manchester’s legendary nightclub following previous tributes to The Loft and Paradise Garage.
The closing lineup will feature Derrick Carter, DJ Paulette, Felix Da Housecat, Graeme Park, Peter Hook, Krysko, Tom Wainwright and Ultra Nat.
“Ten years of disco, chaos and family. We’ve celebrated every feather, every shower of confetti and every dance floor. Here’s to the next ten years.”
