Another £30,000 was raised from their first climb in June (2018).

George Evelyn aka Nightmares On Wax comments, “The 12 days I spent in Tanzania have been super eye opening, be that visiting the homes of Feathers Tale and Angels Gate, to climbing Mt Kilimanjaro. Each step of the way I feel I was shown the might of the human spirit. From the hardships these children experience to the porters helping us on our climb on the mountain & those felt by our own team doing the climb. It has shown me the human spirit is alive , unwavering and evident . That human spirit is something we all have and it has inspired me to do more for our world & the life on it”.

Shovell comments, “Climbing Kilimanjaro was one of the biggest challenges in my life so far. However, the funds raised, the camaraderie created & the lifelong connection to help LNADJ & the children’s homes is truly a blessing. 1LOVE”.

Jonny Lee (LNADJ Founder) comments, “After years of planning it was incredible to be able to be a part of a team who gave it all to not only to summit and break a world record but more importantly raise maximum funds to help save the lives of local special needs children. Bring on the next challenge!!!”

LNADJ has already curated a number of high profile events including hosting Fatboy Slim & Carl Cox at The House Of Commons.
