OVA BATIDA ANNOUNCE SECOND WAVE OF ARTISTS INCLUDING JUNGLE, HAAI AND HUNEE

Nova Batida returns for a second year to one of the world’s most creative culture hubs, Lisbon. From 13th-15th September, Nova Batida will see a headline performance from Four Tet alongside the critically acclaimed Jungle, BBC Sound of 2019 winner Octavian, indie rock trio Friendly Fires, dynamic electronic DJ Jon Hopkins, the magnetic Slowthai and many more.

Mesmeric, future-facing, modern soul titans Jungle will join the roster to deliver a kaleidoscopic electronic DJ set. A central creative core of exceptional London-based producers, songwriters, and DJs, the Mercury Award nominated collective have shared DJ line ups with a who’s who of contemporary club culture including Leon Vynehall, Ben UFO and Midland.

HAAi will also join the roster, bringing her eclectic record collection with her offering ticket holders an around-the-world experience in the form of music with influences from all four corners of the globe. Mixing these hidden gems with her love of techno, the fast-rising star will no doubt create an unrivalled experience at the festival whilst musical connoisseur Hunee will play a set spanning every electronic genre under the European sun.

A fully-rounded experience get-away, Nova Batida’s programming continues to reach new heights with an eclectic and exciting array of activities and workshops. Fat Buddha Yoga will be on site providing free enlightening yoga, and meditation classes across the three days. Festival-goers will be given access to one of the city’s coolest locations’ studio for a series of sessions set to keep the mind and body balanced.

Lisbon is currently seen as one of the best surfing hotspots worldwide and Nova Batida will be offering bespoke surf lessons as part of their offering this year. Anyone from beginner to experienced pro is welcome to join. Meanwhile, the inquisitive are invited to join museum tours and partake in creative workshops, whilst delicious local street food and drinks will be on site to offer an array of Portuguese treats alongside tastes of the world.
