TIME LOST:

PANGEA, ARCADIA’S NEW STRUCTURE WILL LAND AT GLASTOMBURY 2019

Arcadia has announced all the details of its date at Glastonbury 2019, called Pangea.

The new apparition is inspired by the prehistoric supercontinent of the same name, and its goal is to mark “the dawn of the new age,” according to the Glastonbury website. Pangea will feature a 50-meter-high structure built from a decommissioned dock crane, as well as a reused Cold War dome with artistic installations inside. It will replace the Spider stage in Arcadia, which will last for a long time.

“In terms of scale and tonnage, the central crane is Arcadia’s most ambitious engineering project to date,” the press release says. “The logistics of his installation has been very attractive, while the monumental beauty of the crane and the white canvas that unlocks in the sky open up a new and exciting dimension.

The line up designed for Pangea includes such great batters as Carl Cox b2b Jamie Jones, The Black Madonna, Four Tet, Bicep, Daniel Avery, Mafalda, Horse Meat Disco and more.
