Varsity Star – Summer

Varsity Star is a Brooklyn-based multi-instrumentalist and producer. Growing up listening to indie rock from the Pacific Northwest, drum and bass from the UK, and just about anything else, his track “Summer” incorporates these influences with abstract, ambient and instrumental sounds.

“Summer” is one of those songs that change your mood, those with which you let yourself go and transport you to other places. The production incorporates multidimensional and experimental sounds with clear references to Aphex Twin, Four Tet and Boards of Canada. The track has a Lo-Fi touch that gives it a very deep emotional character.
