SNACKS SONOROS #39: TONY ROMANELLO – DARK ENERGY.

This week we bring you the new release from international techno figure Toni Romanello who has joined forces with Dutchman Ramon Tapia’s label, “Say What?”.

Tony is known for his releases on labels such as Fe Chrome, IAMT, Orange Recordings, Numen and Reload Records and has received support from titans of the genre such as Ilario Alicante, Maceo Plex, Sam Paganini and UMEK.

His characteristic sound stands out for the power and emotion he brings to his productions and of course “Dark Energy” was not going to be an exception. The first track, the one that gives its name to the release, is a real blast, full of energy thanks to the powerful kicks and a deep bass that are perfectly complemented by catchy synth melodies.

“Thestral” is pure rhythm, the synthesizer fills with tension a track that is predestined to triumph in any techno party.

Finally “Centralize”, is an atmospheric track mixed with subtle vocals and deep 303 beats, giving an ethereal, almost spacey feeling, to finish the EP in an incredible way.

All in all a must-have release for those who enjoy well-produced, energetic and melodic techno.
