SÓNAR BARCELONA 2022 COMPLETES ITS MUSICAL PROGRAM WITH MORE THAN 30 NEW ARTISTS.
Sónar Barcelona closes today its musical program with a last batch of confirmations with more than 30 names. Among them, national talents such as Maria Arnal i Marcel Bagés, Samantha Hudson and Niño de Elche, the energetic new audiovisual and analog live of the British duo Paranoid London and the dance music proposals that are born in emerging scenes of the five continents: from the Australian internet phenomenon Partiboi69 to the amapian house of the South Africans Kabza De Small x DJ Maphorisa as Scorpion Kings or the sounds of the Asian-British Yung Singh b2b SUCHI.
The DJs who are consecrated as the stars of the most current clubbing will also be at Sónar 2022. The Neapolitan Anfisa Letyago and her powerful techno sound and the French-German union Jennifer Cardini b2b Perel, which will be an unprecedented proposal of hedonism for the closing of Friday night, join a powerful female lineup that already has Charlotte de Witte, ANNA, The Blessed Madonna, La Fleur, Jayda G, Or:la, Avalon Emerson, Helena Hauff or Eris Drew b2b Octo Octa.
Also joining the lineup is the 6-hour SonarCar b2b of Kabza De Small x DJ Maphorisa as Scorpion Kings, representing the new poppy house sound emerging from around Johannesburg. UNIIQU3 will demonstrate why she is considered the great standard bearer of the Jersey Club genre. The ghetto-house style of Australian Partiboi69 will be the star of one of the most amazing shows of the festival and Yung Singh b2b SUCHI will represent the music that has put the South Asian diaspora on the global radar
The Sónar+D program includes the Spanish premiere of the collaborative project ‘Transient’ presented by ME by Meliá by the Italian duo Quayola/Seta, with a two-piano audiovisual show and a large-scale digital installation.
