Age: 26

City if birth: Savona, Italy

FIRST PLACE WHERE YOU PLAYED?

The first venue where i performed as Twenty Six was the hide club in Pavia, a small club in the city where i was attending university. It was very important for me to be able to perform regularly from the beginning of my project so that i could immediately showcase my skills.

BEST CLUB EVER?

My favorite club so far has been the lost beach club in montañita, ecuador. The energy there is incredible, especially in the room they call the “cave.” The atmosphere and the high-quality sound system make you feel a connection with the dance floor that is truly on another level. I can’t wait to be back there next week.

YOUR BEST SESSION WAS ON?

I really loved my session at after Caposile, definitely one of my favorite nights so far. I went there last year as a costumer and was fascinated by the atmosphere and the unity for music that the place exudes. Being able to perform there was amazing; people really feel engaged with the music and respond much more closely to the DJ. In august, I will be returning to play in the garden, and I think it will be another unforgettable experience.

THE BEST DJ YOU HAVE EVER SEEN?

I had the honor to play in Italy with Jamie Jones and Dennis Cruz two years ago in Parma with Insane Event. I stayed the whole time listening to Jamie’s set, and I was amazed by his flow and his way of playing.

IF YOU WERE NOT DJ, WHAT WOULD YOU BE?

Probably nothing else jajajaja. Joking, I probably would have done something related to degree in economics, but to be honest, I just can’t imagine myself outside the music industry. I am in love with this job and love to challenge myself. I feel like I’m just at the beginning of my journey.

YOUR FAVORITE PLACE IN IBIZA?

I haven’t been to Ibiza many times before this year, so I hadn’t frequented the clubs much. I went to Amnesia and DC10 and was definitely fascinated by them. Another club that I really like is Tantra. I feel that the atmosphere there is growing, and the fact that people from my hometown work there is a great motivation for me to believe in and want to participate in the project. The guys are fantastic, and I’m sure the name will grow a lot.

YOUR SPECIALLY IN THE KITCHEN?

I’m not a great chef, haha, but sometimes I still try to cook something. I lived away from home for six years during university, and every now and then I would try something new. If I had to say what my specialty is, I would say risotto.

WHAT EQUIPMENT IS MISSING IN YOUR STUDY?

Lately, I haven’t had much time to produce music at home, so I find myself making music while traveling around the world and in the cities where I perform. I really love it because I can draw inspiration from new elements, and I think this is very important for my music. Right now, I feel like I’m missing a high-end analog synthesizer and a set of vintage drum machines to add more unique textures and warmth to my tracks. But what I would really love is to always work in the studio with many different musicians.

A TRACK TO DEFINE IBIZA?
