PIKES HOST THE NEW ANDY MANUMISSION’S PARTY ‘MONDAYS’.

For over three decades, Mondays in Ibiza have been revered as the best day of the week to let loose, live in the moment and let go. Celebrating rather than dreading the first day of the week is a unique cultural quirk of Ibiza, and by 2024, Ibiza’s iconic Pikes hotel will host the island’s most exciting new party with unannounced DJs all season long. Andy Manumission and Pikes Ibiza present MONDAYS, a nod to the last three decades and Ibiza’s infamous glory days of the early 90s. From Monday 29th April, Pikes will kick off the week with a bit of magic, a place for party goers to escape to as like-minded revellers and island residents alike come together to embrace the freedom of being in Balearic paradise.

Pikes owner Andy McKay – the man known as Andy Manumission – has long been a pioneer of these Monday nights, having co-founded and promoted one of the world’s most legendary club events during its heyday. Now, 30 years on, inspired by the spirit and unrivalled energy of the Manumission era, he pays homage to this heritage by launching a new series of innovative events at Freddies: Andy Manumission & Pikes Ibiza present Mondays.

Building on the original foundation of the legendary club night before phones and superstar DJ line-ups, Mondays at Pikes is about freedom and letting go. Forget fixed schedules and worshipping the selector: if at any point guests are recording, a curtain will be drawn around the DJ booth so that the focus is on getting uninhibited and lost on the dancefloor. Music is what always brings people together under the disco ball, and for these Monday sessions, Pikes will be inviting some of his most loved ones and new faces. All line-ups will be unannounced and on a completely equal footing, not to mention free to play their own style of music.

Pikes encourages guests to return to the essence of the analogue days of clubbing with a no photo policy, giving you the freedom to do what you want, when you want and with whom you want creating a new utopia with an old school vision. In fact, to inspire new connections and bring a social element to the dancefloor, Pikes will give all attendees name tags at the door, whether you’re yourself or not!

There’s nothing like soaking up the music and atmosphere, soaking up the true spirit of Ibiza and really living in the moment on a Monday. Now is the time to return to the values of Ibiza’s golden age, and of course, we think there’s no better place to put them into practice than at Pikes – the closest place to a spiritual home of the original Manumission concept in 2024.
