SNACKS SONOROS #41: SIMON MÓS – SUPER NOTE.

Simon is an electronic music artist, musician and producer from South London, using modular synthesizers and vintage equipment to create minimal and experimental club music. Last year he released a track on Solomun’s Diynamic label which was featured on Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1 show. In 2022 he is pushing his own label ‘SAOK O4’ with 2 singles and an EP due in the coming months.

Super Note is one of these singles. Analogue bleeps from a homemade Buchla 258 synth, heavy bass and crunchy drums come together in this futuristic and minimalistic track.

Although the music doesn’t sound the same, there are clear influences from Four Tet, Floating Points, Leftfield, Legowelt or Caribou. Minimal house and lo-fi techno sound that all fans of the aforementioned artists will enjoy.
