WERKHAUS, THE NEW VENUE IN BRIK LANE, LONDON

A new 300-capacity venue is set to open on London’s Brick Lane. Named Werkhaus, the venue’s programming will focus on promoting local talent while also attracting some of the best acts from further afield. The space will have two possible room setups.

Events Manager Sean Hitchings stated, “Werkhaus was a natural supply/demand situation. London’s music scene has gone back to its roots and we wanted to create space for the innovative, boundary-pushing artists who present the fabric of what’s emerging. Werkhaus is a high spec, industrial space championing live, club and art focused events from today’s thriving subculture communities.”

So far, the venue’s programme includes showcases from label Minimal Force and the Werkhaus Presents series.
